senteflex
The knitted pieces will be suspended from the roof structure by a series of fishing lines. The fishing lines will be weighed down by weights. These weights will help actuate the movement of the fabric. Photo resistors (actuator) will be utilized to set off a series vibration motors, 6-12v motors, and hopefully capacitance sensors. I will also be bringing my Matador knitting machine to continue production while in Montreal. It would also be very interesting to try and capture the movement throughout the structure by the use of lights and a data projector. Perhaps the mapping of movement could result in a time based drawing.
